Calgary Real Estate Market News July 2003
More
listings compared to last year, up by nearly 15% however; sales
have remained strong and are up marginally from last June a year
ago.
The unit
sales in June 2003 represent a record for that particular month.
Sales to listing for June 2003 was 60.61% compared to 74.58% in
June 2002.
The
average combined residential sale price in June reached $212,282
an all time new record with single family averaging $230,582 and
condominiums $156,454.
So given
the fact of the S.A.R.S. in Toronto and the U.S.A’s ban on our
beef, we are still doing very well. Of course there are a lot of
people affected by the Beef Industry: With the loss of $12 million
a day in exports and jobs will certainly have an effect on our
economy in the near future.
